Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting allows members to recognize firms that have been with the Exchange for 30 years, as well as recognize Board members, both outgoing and incoming.

Sporting Clays Fundraiser

Come join in the fun at the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club for our annual Sporting Clays Fundraiser event in April.

The Minneapolis Builders Exchange Scholarship is a special fund set up by the Exchange to award scholarships to individuals for educational purposes in a field directly related to the construction industry.

Parking Lot BBQ

Every summer, The Builders Exchange hosts a BBQ for its members. We provide the food, cooks, and parking lot — you provide the company!

Dinner Boat Cruise

A three hour scenic evening boat cruise held during August in a different locale each year. Dinner is included with the trip. The 2008 Boat Cruise is set to take place on Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Fill out the Boat Cruise Registration form and fax or mail it back to us with payment.

Web Seminar

A quarterly online planroom seminar hosted at MBEX. Free to all members. The summer seminar will take place on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 3:00 pm. Please click here to register.

Document Reading Course

The Document Reading Course is one of the most popular and helpful services offered to our members. Classes are offered twice a year (Fall and Spring).

The give week, 10 session course is hosted by Tim Gnitka, CDT and senior instructor at Dunwoody College of Technology.

Joint Golf Tournament

A day of golfing, dinner included. We host this tournament with the St. Paul Builders Exchange in May at the Majestic Oaks Golf Club. Winners in several categories are awarded shortly after the dinner.

Holiday Potluck

Lots of variety of festive foods await people from member firms who would enjoy coming down to the Exchange for an informal potluck. The 2008 Holiday Potluck is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2008.
